The 2012 Laidley Show Program which includes a listing and timetable of all events at this years show is available for download here. Once again we have a huge program of ring events, cattle, goats, dogs and pavillion entries. Lorraine Ashton Circus will be giving two free shows on Saturday and Sunday.

This year you can ride the V8 Simulator over 2 days and Win, visit Sideshow Alley and buy a Showbag or two. There is something for everyone so reserve the date.

 The show is coming up fast and we look forward to seeing you all there.

 Are you looking for the chance to represent your local community and the Laidley Show Society and at the same time have a chance to win some great prizes and perhaps go on to represent your region. The Laidley Show Society is looking for enthusiastic and outgoing young men and women to enter the 2012 Miss Showgirl and Rural Ambassador.

Miss Showgirl

The Miss Showgirl Awards seek a young Queensland Lady who will represent Queensland Shows for the next 12 months her role is to encourage and promote the Show Movement to the Queensland Youth. She is selected for her knowledge, her presentation and her passion for the show movement and her community. She is not "crowned" this is not a beauty contest nor is it a "brains" test .it is an Award presented to a young Queenslander who will raise the profile of Queensland Shows.

Rural Ambassador

The aim of the Rural Ambassador Award is to highlight the importance of  young people in rural and regional Queensland, in particular those associated with the Agricultural Show movement.  The award identifies those people actively involved in their local Show, who have a sound knowledge of current rural issues affecting their local areas, Queensland and Australia and and have a strong affiliation with agriculture.

Entries close on the 24th June 2012. Judging will be held at the showgrounds on Thursday the 21st June. No late entries accepted.

 COME TO THE LAIDLEY SHOW!!!!

Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July.

An annual event run by the The Laidley Agricultural and Industrial Society for the community

Look or join in any of the following sections:

Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Goats,  Farm Produce, Horticulture, Preserves etc, Cooking, Brewing, Art, Needlework,  Motorcycle and Ute shows, Schoolwork. New this year is the old breed pig show.

(We are always looking for interested persons to assist in all sections, New members are most welcome.)

Lorraine Ashtons' Circus, Pavilions will be open, with Pig Races also on both days. Saturday sees the Street Parade, Official Opening, and Fireworks.

All caravans are welcome at the show grounds whether you wish to stay for a night or for the week.

 Cost is $15 per night or $85 for the week.

You do not have to be a part of a motoring or caravan group.
